Becoming a cosmetologist and salon owner has always been my dream. After graduating from Northern Institute Cosmetology, I worked at JCPenney in Midway Mall for seven years, then atCPenney in Avon and Fandangle Salon, opening Studio 828. In 2017, I became an educator for Ashtae Products, traveling to inspire cosmetologists. With nearly 24 years in the industry, my passion remains! I love helping others feel good about themselves sharing laughs and providing a space to relax. My mission now is to nurture emerging talent and help them thrive!

My name is Josiah McGee , I’m 23 and I’ve been in the hair industry for almost 2 years now. Becoming a cosmetologist is one of my biggest accomplishments this year. Outside of the hair industry, I am also an entrepreneur and I have my own clothing brand. I started getting into hair to one day completely combine both of my businesses into one. I’ve been working hard learning new skills and expanding my knowledge of hair care. My favorite part about being a hairdresser is getting to build relationships with my clients and helping them meet their hair goals. I consider myself to be pretty well rounded and confident in my abilities to service others.

In February of 2025, I will be a licensed esthetician at the new Studio 828 salon and spa (coming soon) and will be offering a range of spa services. Including but not limited to facials, waxing, brow treatments!

I work with all hair types and love seeing my clients leave looking bright and beautiful. I chose cosmetology because it's important to me to uplift others and make them feel like their best sen't been in the industry long, but I really value my education and always strive for excellence.

I have two grown sons and 10 grandchildren who I try to spend as much time with as possible I am a very family oriented person. My hobbies are cooking and camping and making wine and enjoying my grandchildren.
